Ischemic stroke is result of low blood supply of brain tissue, most often after narrowing of arterial vessel, obstruction from thrombi (thrombosis), emboli (embolia), spasm or disturbance of the large brain vessels tone regulation and their branches. As a result, ischemic softening of brain tissue appears.
