Eczema

It is inflammatory disease of the skin, which is caused by many factors and it appears in predisposal persons. The changes are localised on the bare parts of the body (face, wrists, ankles, feet), which are in contact with the chemical allergen. The skin at these parts becomes red and swollen. Characteristically for the eczema is that the swelling is intra- and extra cellular. There appear vesicles which tend to fuse and form bigger vesicles. They crack and on their place remain erosions with leakage of lymph. After sometime the erosions heal and incrustate. This is an acute form of the eczema. In chronic from the skin gets thick and scaly. Because of intensive itching and scratching a secondary infection appears.
