Parkinson disease

Parkinson disease is one of the most frequent degenerative nerve diseases. It is slow and progressive disease characterized by tremor at rest, slowlyness of the volitional movements (bradikynesia) and increased muscle tone (rigidity). It comprises about 80% of the cases with Parkinson syndrome. Mid age of the first complains is around 55 years for both genders. The predisposition for Parkinson disease is about 160/100000, and disease - 20/100000 per year. Caucasians has bigger risk for this disease. The risk of disease grows with the age. The disease is met more often among Caucasians, than black Africans. The Asians form East Asia have middle risk. It is more often in peasants and more often in men than women.
