Thrombophlebitis

Thrombophlebitis is a result of inflammation in one or several veins from coagulum inside the vein. Thrombophlebitis seldom can affect veins of the arms and trunk. Affected vein can be near the skin surface (superficial thrombophlebitis), or can affect deep veins in the muscles (profound vein thrombosis). Thrombophlebitis is a result from coagulum. It formate in consequence of different factors. These are the factors which disturb normal blood flow.
